This off season I removed the hard tanks and put in 750 sacks in the rear for ballasts. Still have all same factory aerator pumps. Got to use set up first time this weekend and bags seemed to drain down from full to about 75% full. I’m looking for ideas where water is coming out from. Could it be coming out the drain line and pump? I could see water coming out one of the side through hull penetrations. I was think once the bag fills past the height of thru-hull it starts pushing water out the drain pump until the bag gets to that level.
Second issue is bilge getting too much water still. Last season, I was convinced it was coming in Hull-deck joint. In the back third of the boat I pulled the rub rail back and resealed this joint with 3M 4200 where I could find small cracks the factory joint separated or sealant cracks. I think it helped. When I’m underway, the through hull joints are practically underwater. Is it possible water could be flowing back down into the bilge pump through hull and down the hose past the bulge pump to add water down there? My side air and blower vents down get too much water in them.
Last detail is I have a homemade suck gate on the side.
