We got our new g23 at the end of October of last year and are just getting out for the first time! We went out with our dealer to show us the ropes (this is our first Nautique). As we were finishing up with him he gave us the dealer pass code to be able to clear any fault codes if they arise and need to get off the water. Within about 5 minutes of us dropping off our dealer we got a NSS fault code, we cleared it and called our guy and he said that if it happens again we should stop by on our way home. We cruised around a little bit and got set up to surf, I was riding and we got going and the wave wasn’t really forming and we realized that we hadn’t turned on the surf profile, we got it all set up right and it immediately triggered the NSS fault again, we reset it again and things worked great, we surfed for a few minutes then had to go. We are planning on taking the boat in tomorrow, has anyone else ever had that kind of fault?

OK, something here really doesn't make sense at all. You do NOT need the dealer code to reset a fault code. That code gets you into the LINC setup. This is where the dealer/manufacturer "tells" the LINC which options are installed (underwater lights, heater, etc.) so those options will appear in the LINC. This menu has nothing to do with clearing fault codes.
At any rate, it sounds to me like there's a problem with one of the NSS actuators. It's a warranty item at this point.

Yep, Charles is correct. I had a similar issue with the NCRS actuator last year. Just a quick warranty replacement, and it was all set.I own and operate Silver Cove Marine, which is an inboard boat restoration, service, and sales facility located in Mooresville, North Carolina.
