Pairing go pro on 19 G23

Can anyone help me with how to pair a go pro hero 6 to my 19 g23?

Go pro is a notoriously unreliable gadget. I use them quite a bit and it's a love-hate relationship.
To no surprise people have many issues with the integration with their boats.

I agree the GoPro can be tricky to use. But after properly configuring it to the LINC Panoray it does work very reliably.

Here are instructions I have scraped from various sources that explain the process. Good Luck.

GoPro connection to LINC Instructions:

1. Download GoPro app to your phone
2. Follow the GoPro app instructions for connecting a new GoPro

The key to getting the GoPro to work with the LINC Panoray is to establish a Wi-Fi connection to the GoPro APP on your phone first then removing the GoPro connection from your phone. In doing so you will configure a GoPro Wi-Fi Password. This password is needed to connect the GoPro to the LINC Panoray Wi-Fi.

Once the GoPro is connected via Wi-Fi to your phone test it by making sure you can control the GoPro through your phone and stream video to your phone. Make sure you write down your GoPro Wi-Fi Password.

This part is tricky because the GoPro camera has both types of wireless connections that can be used when you pair the camera to your phone.
If you are unsuccessful connecting the GoPro to your phone, you must rectify this before attempting to connect to the LINC Panoray.

Once you establish a functional connection between the GoPro and your phone, you do not need your phone anymore, however, you must disconnect your phone’s connection to the GoPro before proceeding to the next set of steps because your phone’s connection will interfere with the LINC Panoray when it attempts to establish a connection with the GoPro

After successfully connecting your phone GoPro App to your GoPro

On your phone’s Bluetooth menu select forget the GoPro.

Then in the Wi-Fi menu on your phone forget the GoPro Wi-Fi connection too.

Once the above has been accomplished, here are the steps to connect the GoPro to LINC Panoray:

1. On the GoPro, make sure Wi-Fi is turned ON
2. Do not start a pairing or connecting request via the GoPro’s built-in menus.
3. On the LINC Panoray GoPro page, go to NEW GOPRO CAMERA and scan for new GoPro cameras.
4. Select your GoPro and enter the Wi-Fi password when prompted.
   Wait up to 30 seconds for the Connection status to change to CONNECTED.
5. On the Control tab of the GoPro page, tap the preview graphic to start the preview and proceed with using the system.

Key points to remember.

1. Selecting preview mode for the GoPro in LINC Panoray will reduce the battery life of the GoPro significantly.
2. Once the GoPro battery is depleted you must completely power down the boat (to a dark LINC Panoray screen) to establish connection with the GoPro after the battery has been changed.
3. The default setting of the LINC Panoray will NOT automatically start the GoPro. You must select Auto Start on the LINC Panoray to start the GoPro to automatically activate when reaching surf speed or faster.
