    Terrible Wakemaker customer service

Not sure if anyone else has had a problem with Wakemaker but sharing my experience. I ordered some lead weight bags after reading about them off this board. I considered a competitor’s product but competitor was not going to ship as quick.

Wakemaker site said bags would be delivered by May 30 and we were taking family trip first week of June. I called and emailed last week of May but did not get response for 4 business days. When they finally responded they stated they were back ordered on bags until mid-June. Website was wrong On date and why did it take then over two weeks to inform me they were back ordered. Worst customer service. I cancelled my order solely because they never informed me until I pressed the issue. Will not be using them going forward.

They like Nautiqueparts are a victim of their own success. They get swamped this time of year compared to winter.

Leadwake is the way to go.

Have used wakemakers several times and never had an issue. Always sent items asap and quick shipping each time. As stated above they do get busy but that's no excuse. I know they offer discounts and have always taken care of me when ordering several hundred dollars worth of stuff so maybe a follow call will get you a deal on future items!

i had a couple problems with wakemakers. one, same as above, item did not come forever, and had to call to find out back ordered. other was a drippy ballast pump that they didn't want to exchange. no biggie i just letting it drip..

              pop-products.com

Lowest price around. 400lbs from pop products is $375 and the same weight from leadwake is $480. I have had my 10 bags since 2012 and my local dealership sells them as well.

I do everything I can to NOT shop at Wakemakers.

they’ve played unethical back-order games for years. And then blame the customer when they call to fix or canx the order.

their prop recommendations are a joke to maximize their profits. Not necessarily what the customer was after performance wise.

just assembling an additional custom ballast setup... not a cent spent there. Nearly everything from Amazon.

Can you clarify which place you are talking about NOT ordering from?
