    New Prop = Damaged?

We just ordered a new prop to upgrade the boat. It arrived with a 1 inch by 1.5 inch scratch/mark on a blade grounding down the miling marks in one spot. Prop purchased brand new not refurb. Other than a visual blemish, will this cause any issue with performance, any vibration? We are inexperienced in props & looking for guidance on whether this is something to be concerned with enough to return or a non-issue. Photos attached. Thanks

That is not damaged. You will see that on every Acme prop. They have some sort of way they check it for balance and then do a tiny bit of grinding on the backside. It is part of their fine tuning process to make sure you have a perfectly balanced prop.
