    Best bumpers for G23

Does anyone have any suggestions on what are the best bumpers for a G23? I currently own a Sunstream 6000lb float lift but it is too small for the new G. I ordered a new 10000lb float lift but living here in Central Canada our new lift won't get here until late August. So for now it will remain at the dock. I have mooring whips and the rigid bumpers on the dock originally meant for the lift, but I want to find a bumper solution that protects the boat from the hard dock edges. I won't go into details here, but for one reason or another I can't use the contoured bumpers that you drill onto the dock. I need something like a big round inflatable bumper, or the flat square and rectangle ones that hang down the side of the boat and follow the contour. Anyways I"ve always received a lot of help on this forum so I figured id throw this out there. Thanks in advance.

These always work well for what you are describing. They are also great for boat tie ups as well. https://exileaudio.com/store/install...nder-pack.html

I use Taylor Made Big B bumpers 8 x 20. Three on each side of my G23 .I'm extremely satified with the results and protection.

I use the same kind but the larger ones. Paired with fender quick connects they work really well in rough water and fit perfect in the rear compartments. I store 3 bumpers in there along with other safety gear that doesn't get touched like a throwable cushion and a dozen of those orange life vests.

I failed to mention the Big B bumper hangers which I use on my bumpers. It is a much cleaner look vs tying a knot in the rope at the end of the bumper with a stainless steel washer.

Jeff turned me onto these inflatable Hyperlite bumpers years ago.

super light. 8”x24”. All my heavy ones like the ones recommended above have gone flat. Somehow these light ones have lasted.

Any idea where to get them Jeff?

Do you know if they will leave the little swirl scratches like the traditional round bumpers?

My round bumpers don’t leave any scratches. I have my round bumpers surrounded by felt covers . They work great

Anything that runs will scratch eventually. Especially on a dark colour. Can always buff them out

There’s a sale on the Exile bumpers right now. I just ordered two for $25. Been meaning to order them for years. I’d like to know how most people go about inflating/deflating them.

Exile Bouy Balls FTW. I’m several seasons in, they’re as good as new.
