Just wondering what everyone is doing for set up in there boats for wake boarding for a 16 year old strong intermediate wake boarder
Speed ballasts and boat settings would be great

Never having ridden behind the boat I'll bet the following would be ideal because it's just a darn good wakeboard setup behind any boat.
    60-65 ft rope
    21.5 mph
    Ballast Full
    NCRS @ 5

I played around with my neighbors GS22 last year, ended up putting 750's on top of stock and 300 in lead in the nose. Ended up being a booming wake, I'm sure it can be dialed in..

I'd avoid extra ballast unless he's taking some big spins or inverts into the flats. Strong Intermediate sounds like he's still working on heelside & toeside wake to wake with grabs/180's both ways. Bigger wakes will increase severity of crashes and perhaps lead to some bad habits or not learning great pop technique. Slower speeds with a reasonable wake will lead to faster progression.

That is FAST for an intermediate rider. Even pro's have slowed their speed down to the 22-23 range with modern wake boats. Take the tricks up, not out. It will save your knees.

How about a good setup for beginners? Kids 10 and 13. I pulled them for the first time yesterday at 17-18 mph, but wasn't sure how to properly setup the wake, or clean up the lip etc.
