    G23 & G21 Regular Wave Videos

Just sold our old boat (in 2 days) and we want to pull the trigger on a 2019 G. We are debating on the 21 vs the 23. We are coming from a 23 foot boat but never have more than 3 adults and 4 kids on the boat so we are good with either size. Our biggest thing is that we only surf and don’t want to regret buying a 21 if the wave is too short or not enough push.

Please post up any pictures or videos that you have!

Go with the G23 , you won’t be disappointed. If you get the G 21 you will probably regret not going for the G23. Many G21 owners will disagree with me but that is how I feel on the topic. Bottom line you should test drive both then you decide what is best for you

This video will show both wave sides on a G23 and how the surf select remote can be used. Stock weight, there were probably only two people in the boat. Great wave, very customizable!

We have a 2019 G21 and think it is great. We normally have 2-4 adults and 2 kids. The G21 has plenty of room and tones of storage for our needs and was $30,000 cheaper than the G23. I don't think you would regret a G21 unless you are looking for even more room and storage because both the G21 and G23 produce a great surf wave. I do agree test driving both would be the best way to answer your question tho.

No one has ever said I wish I had gotten the smaller boat, smaller engine, etc

In general I would agree with this statement. If you are accustomed to a 23 foot boat you should probably stay with it.

However, my buddy had a 2010 230 and that boat had such a finicky wakeboard wake it was a big pita. You had to sack the heck out of it or it washed out real easily. He kind of regretted it compared to my prior boat which was the 210.

I have 750 hours behind a G23 but only a handful behind a few G21s. Wakeboard wake is better on G21. Surf wake is longer and more customizable on G23. The G21 has lots of push, but steeper and not as long. Yes, they both have the same nss and ncrs, but you can tweak the G23 wave shape more.

If you only surf, I would test drive the 230. Better surf wave than either G in my opinion. But of course it depends on your preferences. 230 wave is much longer than either G, with less steep of a transition.
