There have been countless times when we've been out in the boat and perfectly comfortable where we might not have even gone out because of the cold temps. A blanket over you with a heat vent underneath is amazingly warm. It really extends our season on both ends, and makes cool nights much more enjoyable - or when it comes to convincing the wife, it makes going out on a cool night possible.

Here's a thread with some info on the installation. Your engine is different but the setup is mostly the same.

As far as a cover, I just got a custom one made locally and love it. But if I could keep my boat on a lift or trailer, I probably would have gone through Nautique Parts - you get a 10% PND discount, they offer Sunbrella which in my opinion is the best material for covers, and they are made specifically for your boat based on a template. They go completely around the rub rail and over the swim deck, with a drawstring around the whole thing.

Nautique Chromax logos. Removed the swirl on my 2005 206 and it looked sweet!

Since you may have an endless budget, haha, and asking... go with some seadek on that swim platform and get rid of the old sano pad. Depending on how much weight in the boat you might want to look at alternate props.

You’re boat looks very nice and clean!

Invest in some good bumpers to keep it that way.
