Anyone know where I can find a white-faced VDO water temp unit to match my '93 dash? West Coast Correct Craft said they have none in stock and their dealers are out as well. West Coast said they also checked with both Midwest Correct Craft and the factory. VDO has apparently stopped making these and they have no more in their stock either. HELP!

By the looks of the gauge I am sure this was not a special run for Correct Craft. By any chance is the VDO part number readable? The wife's company manufacturers dash assemblies for many of the boat companies and she MAY have one in old stock. She tries to keep stuff around for just this situation. Don't hold your breath, but I have stumbled across some pretty strange things back there.Caretaker of the wife\'s \'78 Ski Nautique

The numbers on the gauges are glued-on paper labels and most have fallen off. Here is what I know. I just recieved an oil pressure unit from the dealer, which indicates #2319. The clock is #0833. The volts unit is #0893. Two labels I found behind the dash that have fallen off (so I don't know which gauge they go to) are #0543, #0772.
I'm attaching a photo of the back of the water temp unit if that helps.

I checked her computer here at home and didn't find any of those numbers so they probably never used that series from VDO. She's out west visiting manufacturer's this week so I'll have to check with one of the engineers to see if they have any "in the back". If they don't, I'll see if they know anyone that might have one.
Did you check with Dennis at Midwest CC directly?Caretaker of the wife\'s \'78 Ski Nautique

Try using a quick two part expoxy. That's what I use on all the 03' perfect pass bezzles that come off.Former Service Manager
