    Recall? 2018 G23

I bought a new G23 this summer, dropped of for initial 20hr service and told has recall? Something about engine belt, grooves or something and overheating risk? This sound familiar to any?

When I owned my 2018 we had a problem where an idler pulley seized (bad bearings). The serpentine belt naturally overheated and shredded causing us to lose engine power. I spoke to a number of H6Di owners and learned that this happened to a few others as well, even Centurion owners (they use the same engine). So I presume the recall is to replace the idler pulley assembly. That's a good thing.

I thought the idler pulley service bulletin was for the 2017 model year G's? Did it span years?

My 2018 was one of the first build slots so perhaps it was mostly 2017 and early into 2018?
