Stupid question...2006 196 ski locker. I have a 69' ski with double high wraps

I have a 69' ski with double high wraps and it doesn't fit in locker Seems silly that a ski locker won't hold my ski. Am I doing something wrong? Aside from keeping it under the spotter seat - which doesn't lock and taking it out of the boat, what do you guys do?

Won't fit a 67 either!! I just put the kids 2 x 63's in there and keep the 2 x 67's under the spotter seat. Yes a pain.

I have a 2004 196 and it came with ski racks on the starboard side. Easily accommodates 2 slalom skis 63" - 71". You may be able to locate the racks if someone is parting out an LE edition SN. There have been several that were sunk and parted out.

I've been looking for those ski racks for my '04 196 w/out any luck for awhile.

Anyone got any good alternative options for this?
