    Debris in river, Bent Prop?

So we were out sking yesterday. I got my skier up and just as the boat got on plain I heard a MEAN, GARBLED, DEEP GRINDING sound from the rear of the boat. I imdiatly shut it down and got out to check the prop. It turned fine and didnt seem bent from the touch. The rivers are dirty and I could not see anything. So I started it back up and tried to go: It made the no wierd sounds but the boat shook hard at just above idle speed.

Bent prop right? Well thats what i though so I just limped back to were we anchored untill it was time to go home. I limped it back to the dock and pulled the boat. Before leaving the Ramp I got out and checked for damage. Turns out there was a 6inch stick stuck right on the strut and resting on the prop. With a holy SH$T i gasped and removed the stick. Dropped the boat back in and took it for a rip. NO PROBLEMS, Ran like a champ.

    I was so releaved!

Glad is was just a stick. Did mine a couple of weeks ago, $130 to have it fixed, plus hoping it's correct when it gets put back on.

I was skiing behind my boat once and the boat shook so hard I felt it the ski handle. Driver says he didn't hit anything so I dove under to check the prop, came up with a duck wing in my hand. Talk about freaking you out when your not ready for it. I don't know if he was already dead and we just hit him or what but at 32 mph there wasn't much evidence left.
