Rub rail screws

I have noticed some of the rub rail screw heads on my boat are stripped. came this way from the factory. I would like to replace these screws, but I cannot find the screw anywhere. They are a #8 stainless, but the thread pitch is coarse. Every hardware store I have been to only has a finer thread pitch screw.
Does anyone know exactly what these screws are and where to get them?

West Marine stocks all kinds of SS screws.

I don’t think the thread pitch matters since these are essentially SS oval head wood screws. They aren’t machine screws.

I may go to fastenal and see what they have.

You can probably find them at Lowes/Home Depot.

Hmm, I have a problem with mine backing out. Maybe the solution to both our problems is some 4200 on the threads. Anyone ever do this?

I found the screws locally. the last hardware store I checked. I actually forgot about this store
