GS24 Surf Settings

I'm sure there is a thread somewhere on here about this but sometimes it's easier to ask than dig through pages. We picked up our 2020 GS24 on Friday and absolutely love the boat but I'm a little confused on the surf settings. Where do all of you usually set the NCRS and NSS? Am I correct in thinking that with NSS set to zero, the plate is fully extended, or is that backwards?

Not sure about the ncrs as I have 2017 230 but regarding the nss, 0 is fully deployed and 5 is the most minimally deployed. Speed of the boat set aside, 0 will produce the shortest wave that is the longest it can possibly be and 5 will produce the tallest wave but it will be the shortest possible.

2018 GS24 here. From what I understand the NRCS should be set to 5 and the NSS at whatever level your rider feels comfortable with the steepness of the wake. But someone else can chime in and correct me if I’m wrong. I set mine to 5 and 5. My son gets a zero NSS

I have a GS22, but the NSS and NCRS work the same.

NSS: 0 is the plate fully deployed creating the biggest steepest wave. 5 is the plate minimally deployed.

NCRS: 5 is the plate fully up, allowing the stern to sink into the water more. 0 is the plate fully deployed down lifting the stern and lowering the bow.

0/5 creates the steepest, biggest, shortest wave.

I generally run NSS at 0 all the time, then adjust the NCRS depending on how much weight/people are in the boat. I usually ride 0/3 at 11.6 mph. I also have 800lb wakemakers bags in place of the stock pro ballast bags

lowering the NCRS also helps get rid of the lip that is about 3/4 the way up the wave. I don't know if the 24 has that or not.
