Sorry it stopped at 999.9 I had to install a 20 dollar hour meter in the engine compartment to track hours for oil changes since the original meter is no longer supported by Nautique or Faria.

First thing...I know basically nothing about the boat market and am new to boating just this season. So i'm likely waaaay off.... But after reading the comments and potential prices it makes me wonder if Correct craft might be trying to take Nautique upscale and compete with the likes of Pavati. They have a lot of boat companys and could keep other brands in the entry and mid level markets.

I don’t think “anyone” in the actual “wake boat” market thinks Pavati is in an upscale item. Nor would any brand want to compete in whatever zone Pavati could be considered in.

Aside Nautique has the price range of the 210, which is probably msrp 80 something to the g25 currently 225. Adding a surf 280 sounds like just like another thing to have if someone wants it... and makes the prices of the others sound not so bad from a market perspective.

In addition surfers have to add weight and reduce NCRS to flatten the wave yet increase push and length. Nautique hasn't changed the ballast and surf system in 5+ years. It's time for an update. Where will it end? When the market no longer supports the boat.

I think its about the adjustability of the wave. that's where the G is lacking. the Ri is so adjustable its ridiculous, im blown away nautique hasn't done something to improve that since 2013 even. In my opinion the nautique surf system is the least adjustable of any of the major brands. the trim tabs just seem to make a way bigger effect. that said the G still produces one of the best waves when its dialed and its my boat of choice. Ri 257 beats it in terms of surf wave by every aspect, but every other aspect of a boat the Nautique is hands down at the top and for normal people the easiest to setup, fill stock ballast full nss0 ncrs 5 and go …
im sure any new boat will once again change everything like when the first G was released.

That's the marketing claim...adjustability. But the Centurion wave is so adjustable that it's very difficult to create a repeatable wave. We surf Centurion dozens of times per year for training and competition. The drivers are pro Centurion riders and honestly I never know what I'm going to get. Nautique could use say ten increments instead of five but I'm not a fan of infinite adjustment because it's too much of a good thing. On a G I know exactly what wave I will get and it's hard to screw up.

From what I understand the new model is in the $300k range and it’s not meant to replace the g or even sell like the g. Nautique only expects to sell a limited number of them a year.

Guys. It’s gonna be an electric surf only boat. Basically experimental. You’ll see.

Until you need to replace the batteries.

If believe the starting msrp of last years 2019 210 was 105k. No options and no trailer. Likely more this year of course.

Pretty sure thats what the new boat is going to be called from the source I talked too. Or follow this line of thinking your 100% correct.

I was told it’s gonna be called the paragon as well. Batteries right now are expensive. With technology advancement battery prices will come down. I think it’s an incredibly small market and i don’t think nautique is planning to sell a lot. I’m telling you. This is just for r&d. Didn’t they acquire an electric company not to long ago?

It would be funny if indeed it is called a Paragon. My post stating it would be like a Paragon was simply a guess. Sounds like from above, that could actually be the name.
