Hi all for a meaty and big wake what is the recommended set up - stock ballast, NCRS setting, additional weight etc. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Have the H6 in my G.

Lead needs to be 150 to 250 biased to port. Most of the weight mid boat, then some in back locker, and a little up front. For example, 200 under port flip seat, 50 each side of bow. 100 each stern locker, 150 each side under seat.

2015 g23 w 450. When we want max wake: stock ballast full, ncrs all the way steep (not deployed), 400lbs of lead around cabin (none in nose), and a 350lb bag under each side seat. So about 1100 over stock. 23mph 75ft rope. Gets on plane easy with small crew...starts to struggle around 6 or 8 people in boat.

I run a 2016 G23
Full Ballast plus 4-5 adults evenly distributed
NCRS 5
22 mph
65ft line length
Don't discount line length and speed, their as important as ballast and play a big part in the feel of your pull. When I first got the boat I was used to a more "old school" setup and was riding at 23.5 mph and 75+ ft which is what the older boat required to get to a super firm meaty wake. Slower and softer is so much better on these big boats now. The wake and lip is super firm & meaty at 22mph on the G but the landings and impacts are so much softer and more forgiving.

For the best "meaty and big wake" for wakeboarding for the G23.
300lbs lead in the bow
300lbs lead under port observer seat
800lbs sack on the floor in the cockpit
200lbs lead in the rear most part of the stern compartment (adds some extra pop to the lip)
NCRS 5
Full stock ballast
speed 22.9 mph
line length 75,78,80ft
We have a small crew of driver and observer. As we add crew I will subtract weight to compensate for the extra weight from the port and starboard tanks if the crew is larger than 4 total people.
There are tons of great other options as you shorten the rope and slow the speed as well. For now this is the best overall combination we have found.

Yes this is not the most fuel efficient wakeboard wake for sure but the wake is huge and clean.

Many tks! My rope length is 70 and speed at 22.2mph. Should I reduce a bit the cockpit floor sack?
