12 speakers before you get to the tower? **** ya! And 5 amps? I dig for sure. Noticed how they never showed the interior of the transom lockers. Likely still small compared to the G. Slide out cooler... super cool idea, but I’m not a fan of how it looks just sitting there behind the lean back. Looks a bit unfinished. Bow camera and ladder... I dig. Bow cushion lean back for the wind block... great idea, but a major road block for all the traffic we have going into and out of the bow. Side hull profile... not for me. Too squared off. I like the idea of the depth alarm for the trailer. Innovative thinking. Needed for people that know how to launch and retrieve their boats? Likely not, but many new boat owners will appreciate this feature.

      Yup you’re right.

I guess when you spend a quarter mil on a boat 12 boards @ $800/piece isn't that much more. But do you really need storage like that? Also I'd suspect most of the folks with $250k to spend on a boat also have 10 times that in their lake house so you can probably store some things at the dock?

I wanted just the fancy strapless board racks on my ordered boat until I realized I can save the money, get two REALLY nice new boards, and still have about 4 tanks of gas left over.

But I digress... what's the draft on that 240 fully loaded with ballast, gas, your closest friends, a couple dogs, and of course 12 boards? Does it require a harbor pilot to get to the dock? Is there an option for one of those rotating Furuno radars?

A good friend has a 19 M235 he bought new and it’s been in the shop 3 time this summer, it’s first summer out, and this current time has been over a month. Surf gate failure, countless electrical failures and board rack failures. Looks great but typical Malibu quality, or lack there of.

Looking forward to hearing how the wakes and waves of the M240 compare to the 24MXZ.

The M240 almost certainly will produce a better surf wave than the 24MXZ. I drove the 24MXZ at a recent and prestigious wake surf competition. The skim riders loved the MXZ wave, the surfers, not so much. And the 24MXZ handles like an aircraft carrier. It makes the G23 drive like a Ferrari and that is no exaggeration.
