I saw a G23 Paragon on my lake for the first time today. Looked like red metal flake sides with an admiral blue hull on Table Rock Lake, near the dam. Beautiful boat! I gave them a wave and a thumbs up from my masters blue 230. Does the Paragon belong to anyone on here?

Surfing 11.3 was about 2750 RPM.

Surfing is 2750 RPM, but Back to Dock 25MPH is 3350 RPM not 3700 RPM.
Top speed was about 36-37 MPH but it felt like that ZZ8 was making a dent in the strategic oil reserve at that speed!

Ah, thank you! That makes a lot more sense and was more what I thought the change might be.

So so sad though....my 409 G21...39 mph.....450 G23....39 mph.....AND a 600 horsepower ZZ8 only pushing the boat to 37....just pains me. That Paragon should do at somewhere around 42-45. I know...I know..it's a tow boat...blah blah....but gosh darn....600 HP !!!! 37 miles an hour...LOL LOL

Thanks Steele...now that you mention it...I did watch that drag race video. Yeah...that could be a consideration. I don't need to be Eddie Hill......but would like a little more speed out of the G's....

For those at low altitude and/or who do not run large crews or extra weight it would be an awesome alternative.
