While I can't say he will not for sure, after surfing/"demoing" it-he is seriously "conflicted"/thinking about it. I say this because I think they are selling many more than folks might assume...
I demoed in Dallas a few weeks ago. I was skeptical at first, but it's an amazing boat in person. The wave is significantly better. They sold at least 10 of them while it was here. I also have an '18 and found myself wanting to upgrade afterwards. Even went as far as building one online and obsessing like I did before buying current one … at the end of the day tho … it's out of my price range. I hope we get some of the running surface design to trickle down to the normal G's in the future.

I think the majority of G23 owners bought their boat because it's the best boat on the market. A good portion of them have the means and are the type that can't handle someone having bragging rights over them and are going to buy it regardless. I think they'll sell a ton of them just on the latter aspect.

It was actually 9, to be specific! You and I may have been there the same day; I was Saturday at about 1 p.m. I am one of the 9.

That was the day. I think I hopped on after 4p. There were still several people on board ... I don't remember any names tho.

I did decide to purchase another 300# of lead (800# total) after the whole obsessing part … and is a big improvement. I think I'll be good until the G gets a good redesign now.

Really enjoyed surfing behind and getting to drive one today. Fit and finish is off the charts. The biggest surprise was how nice it drove. Being able to steer with one finger at all speeds was awesome. Even with 12 people in it, it didn’t drive like a typical G pig at all. Super impressed.

My opinion is that Pavati boats are trashy, and look like they just threw a bunch of stuff together without consideration for the overall boat. I back up my trashy statement by noting a “dance” pole, aka stripper pole, is an option on those boats. That being said, the front thruster does seem like a good idea, just that Pavati doing it doesn’t make it so.

My boat won't be delivered until next March or April, but it is already costing me money. I had to switch out my lift from a 7K lb. lift to a 9K...

Love your boathouse. Please post a picture of your Paragon while on your boat lift after you receive it.

My lift has been upgraded to a 9K unit (shown above), and now I have the trailer built for the new tub, but am months away from having a G23 Paragon to place upon either of them. I can’t do anything else now but possibly stir up the debate again about requisites for towing this heavy monster. I’ll be towing this triple axle trailer with brakes on every axle and a 2 5/16” surge coupler with a 2020 F250 6.7L and the newly featured 10 speed transmission. Anyone want to challenge the suitability of the rig?!

I reckon you skimped on the trailer brakes.....in the scheme of the money you have invested in truck and boat, a few extra bucks would’ve got you Electric over Hydraulic brakes.
i would’ve thought it to be a no brainer....
Good luck to you and enjoy!!!!!

What colors did you go with on your build?

I suppose if mine was a seriously "trailered-boat" the point would be valid. As it is, my boat is removed from the lift in my boathouse in the fall, then pulled from the lake via the trailer, winterized and returned to covered storage 5 miles away. The entire round trip in the spring when I put it back in the water is 10 miles, the same for when I fetch it in the fall. Frankly, what I have done to date is ridiculous overkill... My trailer will get 20 miles of use per year and spend 364.5 days in dark, dry-covered storage. The surge brakes will likely work for my 5 miles each way.
