This helps. Mine sprayed last Thursday or Friday. If I add a month, then I'm at 2/28. (I'm likely a little sooner since I'm in Texas-closer to Orlando) (I know shipping has to do with having a full load to a geographic area or dealer.
So not to stir the pot, but I guess I am... how do you early buyers just taking delivery or about to feel about Jeff's new info that the P23 is no longer available with the 550 and the ZZ8 is now standard? I would not be a happy buyer if I were in those shoes!

I'm not pleased, and have already called my dealer-and left a message.
Da-n sure does. My boat is still deck and hull (not put together). This can be stopped. It is one thing to change the engine and gear box in the 2021s, but to do this 4 months after intro...
Man I’d be all over my dealer and Nautique CS!!! These 550 boats will have a similar stigma to the early Gs without the 2:1 IMHO.
I wonder if MSRP went up as a result of the change... if not I don’t see any reason why boats that are one a certain stage of the build or not even started yet can’t get the change to the ZZ8. Even if there’s a cost difference Nautique should do something for its customers that bit the bullet early on the ordering process.
Even dealers that ordered boats without a sale just to get one for boat show season should be unhappy! They now have a boat that will be even harder to sell without taking a big hit.
Gents I have a perfectly analogous scenario to compare. I ordered a 2020 F250 (the new 6.7L has 475HP/1050Tq and a 10 speed transmission). Imagine how ticked I'd have been if I ordered a 2020 (early as I did) and it came with the 2019 6.7L that has 450HP/935tq and a 6 speed transmission, both trucks in the same model year, same MSRP, then Ford changed to the new engine and trans 4 months later. No bueno....

Dude I’ve nothing in this and I’m aggravated/annoyed at it! It’s not like this engine was just something PCM all a sudden decided to build... they’ve had this on a design team for some time now I bet.
come on, you know they came out with the 2:1 tranny the next model year (2014) after 2013 g23. and of course there were 2013 on the assembly line, when they made the switch, they had to change it over somewhere, right?
so typically what they would do is 2013 got old tranny and maybe if you lucky you might have a 2013 with the new tranny.
and i don't blame you for being upset or even calling...go for it...
...and feel free to vent all you want here. cause it is a forum for that stuff....
but yeah, i am never gonna feel bad for you...if you can afford a paragon and you choose to be an early adopter when you know darn well they did this last time, then yeah, whatever...you can afford it.
p.s. it is not like it gonna be underpowered or anything...you just don't like that they upgraded it already....
p.p.s. although not necessary, i would add a little context....i work for a company that runs a food shelf for people that can't afford actual food. not ever gonna feel sorry for a guy that is pissed cause they upgraded a boat the next model year....and i spoke to a guy a week ago that actually is a fireman trying to keep their nautique running. so whatever...
