Indoor Storage - Bimini stowed, open, or removed?

Hi All -

I am storing my boat inside an indoor storage facility for the winter and was wondering what people do with their biminis. Should I fold it up and put the cover on it, leave it open, or remove it completely and store it in my lakehouse?

I'd vote for removing it completely and storing it in your house. The canvas is very easy to remove and it'll stay cleaner in your house. My boat stays in my covered lift all winter and I still take the canvas off the bimini and store it inside.
