    What Tower?

Didn't really know what section to put this in........

Ive got a 99 Super Air with an 04 Tower. The 04 tower has my least favorite lines of any tower other than the 99. And the one on my boat is slight bent and almost impossible to get set and secured. Sooo I'm saving pennies and tower shopping for this winter...

Trying to Decide between a Roswell and the 00-03 Factory Style from NDT

I think the lines of the NDT looks great on these years but it is somewhat dated. I'm really not sure it being dated on a 99 is a bad thing however. I also like that I can get a towerbimini for it. Had one on our pro Air and Loved it. It also pains me that I'm taking a very similar tower off to replace it with close to the same thing. So for Arguments sake should I straighten the 04 tower, Re tap and thread the legs, PC' it black and call it a day?

I like that the Roswell should be easier to Fold and Unfold. (My barn is short so I have to Unfold and fold Each Weekend.

I think the Roswell would give it a more up to date look but the bimini angle seems to be goofy on any that I've seen. We have the texas heat to deal with (and kids) so a big and functional bimini is required.

EDIT: Also when you start adding up Roswell Money I'm well over 5k for a tower, bimini, speakers, etc... And I want to get any holes filled in the gel.

    So....

    What to do

It’s going to come down to how much you want to spend on the project. My thoughts are 1st thing is, I agree with you on the Bimini angle of the Roswell, it doesn’t look right. I like the look of the Roswell tower but not so much the Bimini. The NDT towers look great and classic for your boat, classic and timeless in my opinion. They look great on those model years. As far as powder coating the one you have... if you don’t like the lines or looks of it I wouldn’t spend money on power coating it and Bimini. It’ll still have the same lines after powder coating, yeah it’ll look better but I don’t think you’ll be content. How long do you plan on keeping the boat? I’m leaning towards NDT for this application.

I don't think you can go wrong with either. Personal preference.

NDT looks factory, but Roswell makes a great product too, and it works well with the lines of the boat. I bet the bimini can be adjusted. I am heading down to Roswell on Friday to pick up the PN G23. I'll ask them about that then.

That would be awsome. It's really the only thing that turns me off about them aesthetically.

You are probably right on throwing money at the 04 tower. That sucker is heavvvvy too with some speakers on it.

As far as the boat goes, nothing is ever certain but as long as we (knock on wood) don't desperately need the money for any reason I will probably keep it for a long time. It's still a low hour/great shape boat. And who doesn't love a big block. I flirted around with a newer/bigger one off and on for a few years but i really don't think I will ever do it. We have tons of other off the water hobbies (and a bass boat/jet skis) so a 150k surf machine doesn't really fit our needs.

Ha it’s funny you just posted about this. I bought an 06 210 last week that doesn’t have a tower. The boat has all 3 ballast tanks but no tower.. thought it was weird, but the boat has 164 hours on it and is immaculate (other than needing a detail). So I’m going through the same discussion about towers. I’m leaning pretty heavily to the Roswell though. It’s a great looking tower and really helps bring the boat up to date. Roswell has a couple of older 210’s on their website with the aviator tower and they look awesome!

I also think the Longer windshield on yours makes the roswell tower look even better. If I had that windshield frame I wouldn't even be asking the question.

I know you are a long way away but I actually have an NDT at the shop that will fit yours... it won’t fit mine because of the windshield. I did see this one today while looking around.

I saw that one on instagram a while back. I like the all white and updated side graphics. Tower looks pretty good as well.

His spare tire location cracks me up however.

How bent up is your existing 2004 tower? I have an 04 SV211 that I am looking for a replacement tower.
