I recently bought a 2007 sv211, tower was destroyed, I currently have a tower off a 2003 230 we installed but the dang this is to low, it smacks me right in the forehead after a couple beers. What are your thoughts on either modifying this tower to make it taller or replacing with aftermarket and what are your thoughts on the many different aftermarket towers.

I'd move to a two-post tower, like a Roswell Aviator or similar. I agree with Jeff. One of the reasons I sold my last boat was I was done with the 4 posted tower it had. I will also add though that anything you do should look as factory as possible. Nothing pulls value off a boat like a bad tower. We've all seen them and have commented about them. And remember.... friends don't let friends put junk towers on their Nautiques!Comment

I’ve got the Aviator tower on my 04 210... love it!!!
I got the extra bases that lift it by 6 inches and there is plenty of head room.
Call Nautique Parts and order it directly to save 10%..
I made the mistake of going to the Roswell Merit Island HQ and picked it up and paid more for it, and they wouldn’t honor the coupon. Sucks because that is a lot of $$ I probably would have put into their speakers, but oh well.

Will a 2003 210 fit under a 7' garage door with the Aviator tower folded down? Does anyone have any pictures of one folded?

I talked briefly with Jeff at Roswell via E-mail, and tried to get a group buy for the Aviator Pro Tower. He said they don't normally discount this tower, but if we could round up 10 folks he would consider it. I am in the market for 1, and if Dave is that would make 2. Any other takers out there? I can start a group buy post to see if anyone is interested. Maybe if people are looking for other Roswell gear and we hit a certain $$ amount he would consider it.Comment

It will have to be this weekend.. been a nutty week... no, the Bimini has to be closed to have the tower fold down. Come to think of it I haven’t folded the tower since the Bimini was installed... hmm will have to pull out the instructions to confirm my previous statement.
