Deal on SN2001

I already contacted that guy for more pictures. If that is a Silver Nautique, which I think it is, it may be a good deal. Someone needs to grab that and restore it to original condition.

Not sure, I dunno the guy at all. But I've rode that hull before and sacked out it's a heck of a wake. Truly a budget wake boat.

I don't know. Sticker change....maybe....Looks like just a silver and black ski. Only easy way to tell from a pic is to see the back of the boat. Of course the vin would be 100 % ID if it was truly a silver.

Yeah....that's what I was thinking....just wonder why they would change the decals to Ski from Silver.

I don't think the Silver Nautique decals are available anywhere. They would have to be custom-made if replacements were needed.

I would jump on this boat, but my wife would literally murder me and toss me in the lake. She's mad enough with the new Fish Nautique...

Probablly on a thread somewhere but in a nutshell what is the difference from a Ski Nautique vs Silver Nautique? I'm sure the hull is the same just a limited edition with options package

Doesn't look like it's had the best life. Certainly she has been reupholstered at least once already, which is not a big deal obviously.
To me this looks painted black, not original black gelcoat. A couple of red flags - that aluminum stamped dash - some other goofy things. The author of the ad makes it unclear as to whether or not it currently has an engine. God why do people write ads this way. I can't sell a broken lawn chair without a spellchecked ad, nor will I buy anything without the same.
It very likely not a 'Silver Nautique' as this forum understands it (a 1986'ish short run of boats). Still worth it at $700 for the hull. I'd do it just to do a desk project (or a bar or bureau) and put what's left of it to good use.

I hear ya Jeff. Since your wife won't let you get one....I'm divorced...so if you ever see a fairly clean one out there....let me know. Kids just won't get braces...LOL. I've always wanted a Silver.. My fav Nautique of all time. I'm always on the lookout for one.

GML....it was just a special edition Silver Nautique in 86. Had the metal flake, black and silver with the Silver Nautique logo. They only made 82. That's the only difference. Engine and interior was the same. Dash had a Silver logo I think. But they all had 25th Anniversary logos that year also...since the first Ski Nautique was 1961. Have a great Holiday !

You may be correct, but if I were to guess, I would bet that's a Silver Nautique with replaced graphics. Do you have any pictures of the back of that boat?

Yeah....it has the regular graphics...not the big 25. But who knows...they may have changed all the stickers!! Oh crap....this is a different one. There are quite a few with Ski Nautique on the side that look like Silvers......

Yeah, very hard to tell. The silver metal flake normally had a thin black pinstripe just inside the metal flake. I can see it on your first picture, but not the one right above this post.
