I was just re-lookiung at the pictures. They must have put the motor in prior to dropping the deck. I don't think you could drop a motor in there once the deck is on. Looks to be a service nightmare.

The whole back hatch will open up. It is really cool and easy to service the boat.

If this boat is intended to be a crossover where is the skiing tow pylon at?

It has one, its a pop up design. You can see it in the pic.

Overall I like it, as with most new things it takes some getting used to, people don't seem to like change..but eventually end up liking it.
I like the walk thru to the rear, the seats and engine cover get too much of a workout otherwise, and they end up tearing, like on the 220.
Nice though.

yeah it could be, but I do know that it has a pop up rear pylon..

I would guess crossover refers to wakeboarding, wakeskating, and of course tubing. Even if it does have a pylon I am guessing it would not be a great time to ski off of.

Are there any engine options other than the 330 and 375 for this model? Would be curious to know if CC has plans for a bigger engine. I personally would hope so.

The family boaters are the ones that are most likly to be able to afford these things.

99% of boarders can barly even scrape enough money together to get a less expensive boat.

I applaud CC for trying new inovations, and without change you will just be left in the dust.

Also where I spend most of my time boating, 70% of the inboards are going v-drive, and almost all of them are giving up boarding as they realise how much fun surfing is.

A recent qoute of one of the regulars, "A beer in one hand, and a stogey in the other, try that while boarding."

These same "surfers" are buying bigger and bigger boats to hold more people.

wow, 2 weeks away i miss so much...

I could list everything I like and don't like now, but the real bottom line is that its a CC, and it will grow on me no matter what. So no matter how much I dislike this and that feature (winshield, dash, etc...), when people start buying them and I start seeing them in person, I'm pretty **** sure I'll like it... a lot...

I also can really see an improvement from the 220 and a response from customer feedback... looks like this will compete w/ the X-45

wow, props to CC for once on their website. They've already got the 236 up there, and got rid of the useless "family rec" catagory, and put the 216 back into the crossover section... But will somone please tell my why the 236 is there also? Why would anyone want to slalom behind that? I didn't even see a pylon.... If the 220 is an Air boat, this should be as well..

edit: jeff, it appears what you thought was the lifting ring is actually the retractable pylon... and the backrest is removable, but there is still a small gap between the two cushions..
