Im sorry i wont be going to the reunion again this year. I invited my brother and his 2 boys down to the river this weekend. They play ice hockey and its the only weekend they are available and no way i could disappoint those 2 little men. Hoping for next year...

We had a great time yesterday ....

As usual, many-many EXCELLENT boats and I always enjoy making new friends.

Everyone I talked with, I asked ... "So, you from PLANET NAUTIQUE ?".

Not one .... but, they've all heard/read/seen and even browsed thru.

Next time ... I'm gonna wear a PLANET NAUTIQUE name tag or something.

Day ended on an excellent level .... I got one of the $150.00 Nautique Gear gift certificates.

... and wouldn't you know it .... I forgot I had one extra raffle ticket (they gave each person who broght their boat an extra ticket). Can't recall if they called that number - I was really hoping for that tow-tube or the Liquid Force wakeboard w/bindings. Oh well .... I was just excited they called my number - didn't really care what the prize was ... 'sides - my kids are gonna spend it anywa y !!!

I didn't take any pics - if anybody has 'em - post 'em !!!

              AL;
sorry we didn't run into each other. We need to build more of a West Coast presents here on the Planet. Also had a great time! Many thanks to WCCC for puttin on the thing and all the sponsors. A good time was had by all. But Bad news though, I got your wake board Al. Last number called. My buddie got a vest, a tow rope and some polish so no excuse for not being on the River today. Took our boat this year and took First in Class and Cleanest Engine competition. What a Blast! Shame on all those Nati owners that dont come.

I was there, and took second in the best boat catagory 2002-present. But the kicker is I won a new ACME prop of my choice, (1234 here I come!)and a set of Polk Audio speakers.

Sorry I missed you guys! , I agree we need a better west coast presence, although I though that we had a better boat showing than last year. Lotsa nive boats and rigs, and I did meet some new people. 211's were well represented, more than any other model, and CC says thier number 1 seller. I hope they don't make too many. Two different people asked me if I would sell my boat! I guess that's a compliment. We had a great time. Hope to see more Planet nautique folks there next time!

We had a good time as well. Schedule didn't allow us to take the boat, but enjoyed ourselves nonehteless. Caught up with hsmunoz and mikeski, and also met lukeduke. I'm sure I talked with others on this site, just didn't put two and two together. BKH

My wife, dog, and I all had a great time. We were honored to win "best dog" as well as best current model and most awesome stereo. There were some beautiful rigs but I would like to see 50+ boats next year. I feel that the Marine World venue detracts from the main purpose of the event but it's a good pull for the families. Might be fun to have it at a private lake sometime in the coming years? It might be a little more fun actually being able to ski or board behind the new demo boats as well as drop our own boats in for a little water action. I didn't get too much time to check out everybody else's boat as mine was getting lots of interest but I really like the oldies, brings back lots of memories since I can remember skiing behind them. At the end of the day it was funny, Tommy Meecham told me that I had actually skied behind his 1977 because it was originally Johnnie Matranga's promo boat pulling several of the Sacramento Water Ski Club tournaments.

I say that next year all Planet Nautiquers need to wear a PN hat with your call sign! We should also post pix of our boats before...

In the past, people have written them in on their name badges (at least in Ohio). It is nice to be able to pick out the PN members at the reunions.

                        Cool !!!

So, if I didn't meet any of you personally - I got a visual on all of you as your numbers were called for the raffle prizes ....

I like the PN ID # idea ....

I also like the idea of having this renunion at a "less detracting" site .... Six Flags does pull us away from what we're really there for. My kids loved it - guess it's all right, but I would've liked to have done more BOATING STUFF. While driving home, I thought to myself - where was the SWAP MEET area ??? Did they have one and I completely missed it ???

Still .... we all had a really great time. It's comforting to know that I'm not the only member of "Correct Craft Annonymous" !!!!!

                          Al,

I brought a wakeboard and two pair of bindings for the swap meet. When I signed up I asked what we were supposed to set up I just got confused looks. They said that I could just put it on the table with a price but there didn't seem to be enough interest to pull it out of the truck, so I just took the stuff back home.

                          Your boat looked great.
