My 2015 Nautique has the slide-in wind blocker. It works fine, but it is slightly less convenient as the one I built with hinges on my previous boat to access the bow area when necessary for anchoring and mooring.

OK. Assuming Malibu continues to give no love, here are some candidate parts:

      9/16 black U channel at Amazon - $26 - link

9/16 automotive channel felt at Amazon $37 - link

I'm going to assume that it's possible to get plastic that will fit this channel.

2004 206 Air Nautique Limited - Black with Vapor Blue (family style)
1997 Masters Edition Nautique - Zephyr Green - gone (amazing ski wake)
1982 Mastercraft Powerslot - gone (a primitive but wonderful beast)
