I have a 2018 SAN GS22, and purchased the Wakemakers Factory Ballast system. They are 800 pounds each, and fit inside the rear lockers. I've hear that I need to add bow weight, but not sure how much, and whether to go with lead or some other bag system. Anyone have some suggestions??

i have 200# of lead in mine. 100# under the port observers seat, and 100# right at the front of the driver seat, under the feet.
seems to work well, but i don't like them under the driver feet.
the issue is moving the weight around easily if you ski. my boat lists pretty good to the starboard side when skiing and there are only a few people (wife driving,, kids) in the boat.
I have to weight the port side to balance it. putting the 100# from the driver area under the port flip up seat does the trick.
i have thought about moving the weight to the bow, but then the risk of swamping the bow increases. However, I am used to a low profile bow, my 2000 Air Nautique had a much lower bow than the GS.
just experiment, good luck
