    Kansas City Boat Show

    Hey all--

Stopped by the biggest of three boatshows we have here in Kansas City, yesterday. It was held in Bartle Hall in downtown KC. The new Nautique dealer for KC is Joe Norton with Skier's Whart Extreme. They have 2 locations, Blue Springs, MO (about 30 min from KC area) and Osage Beach, MO (Lake of the Ozarks). Without being an online advertisement, I'd like to say that these guys are great!! We bought our '04 from them in Oct. of last year and have absolutely no complaints. They know their stuff about CC's, and really take good care of their customers!!! Here are some pics of the boats they brought. This was my first look at the 211, and I was actually very impressed. A lot of R&D went into this boat and it shows. TONS of storage!!! I'd probably still choose a 210 over it b/c we primarily wakeboard. This is a great all around/family/crossover boat...at least from what I've seen. I'm interested to ride behind it.

The best part of the show was getting to hang out with Scott Byerly for about an hour and a half. He's really chill and fun to talk to. My dad and I got a pic with him and I also learned some interesting info while talking to him. First, he has a video documentry about his life coming out sometime in April. A little more applicable to PN.com though: he mentioned CC is designing another boat. He didn't know much about it, except that it is bigger than a 211, smaller than a 226, and unlike the rumors about the 211, it WILL be a hardcore wakeboard boat. That's about all he knew...I didn't know if this is already common knowledge or not. Never thought I'd be shooting the sh*t with Scott Byerly.

(I have really close-up pics of the hydro-gate in the up and down positions if anyone is interested, I can post them. You'll be suprised how tiny the change is b/w up and down...but it's all fluid dynamics, I guess)

you should post those close-up pics of the hydro gate on wakeworld, there was an arguement there as to what it actually does. that would help settle that.

Yeah, I was surprised to see your post earlier, you beat me to the punch! I'll be back down in KC sometime this summer to visit the cable park if you want to get together and ride.

Yea...for sure!!! I'm friends with Mike (the guy who built/owns the park)...it should be a lot of fun when it opens up. Did you get to meet him over at Sitzmark's tent? Let me know when you are going to come, and we could hit the cable park, and right down the road is the lake we ride at all the time (Hillsdale) , so we could make a day out of it. I'll PM you my contact info.
