I can't get over the sticker. If you're Cobalt or Regal and you want to take surfers from Nautique, it takes quality build - which they both have - and savings in my opinion. I'd buy a 2 year old G23 before I'd pay the same price for a new bowrider surf boat. Every time.

I see the occasional Cobalt R5 around the lake, those look pretty big and I rarely ever see anyone surfing behind them, just cruising.

Is the idea with the Bryant to have a cruiser that also surfs some?
Here were my high points of interest in the Bryant being a current G23 owner:
      - The interior to me was more family friendly for my young family of 2 kiddos and my older mom who is often out with us.
      - Liked the seating configuration for social times (facing one another).
-Liked the flip up wooded table.
      - Liked the rear facing seats that can also convert to recliners/loungers and then can completely flat for tanning or for the kids (or for couple time)
      - Love, love, love the fact that IF (and that’s a big if) this boat surfs like the Nautique factory rep told me, I could potentially have a surf boat that could do 50mph when desired. 38mph on my G isn’t enough for this speed freak. Especially for what we pay.
      - I think that it would be nice to have a deeper V hull for handling the chop a bit better and for better cornering.
      - Nautique-like fit and finish
      - I could be wrong, but I fee like the prop was just about in the same position/as far under as my G?
      - Huge platform.
      - Price seems in line with the other bow riders so it doesn’t seem expensive to me. Esp as the fit and finish is so nice.

      Negatives:
      - Resale is likely nothing compared to Nautique.
      - The rep told me that it does list to the left or right when surfing (have no idea about bow rise).
      - Certainly not as cool as my G
