    Interesting, we do have hit or miss phone signal on Verizon. US Cellular is great in that area though...Although it seems like it would be GPS based, not tied to a specific carrier. GPS works fine at this location. My updates are still coming in, looks like I'm still moving around the lake even though boat has been sitting in my garage for 5 days now. I wonder if it stores the readings locally on a memory chip on the boat and then sends them up on a regular cadence when it gets signal.

    Tomorrow I plan to open the garage up and power the boat up and see if it moves through the rest of the updates. Somewhere it has to have them queued up since the app is still updating regularly with outdated readings and the quality of connection shouldn't have changed as my boat has been stationary all week.

      It has now been a full 7 days and my app still has not updated all the way. It's changing slightly every day, seemingly with real readings from when we were out on the lake, but it's like it's WAY behind and still getting caught up.

      Yesterday I left my garage door open all day and battery switch on. Not clear line of sight to the sky, but my Satellite radio in my truck sitting right next to it works fine. And the app is still getting/processing updates from somewhere as the boat hasn't moved but the app slowly updates about every day.

      Here is my latest reading, keep in mind boat hasn't been on the lake in 7 days. Ballast tanks are currently 0% full, fuel tank is full, and actual hours on the boat are 14.8, and it's sitting in my garage 30+ miles away from where it's showing on the app.

      I'm going to quit updating with the overall assumption the app simply doesn't work. If someone out there can figure out the right way to hold your mouth and stand on one foot to get it to update consistently let me know.

        I'm in the same boat (pardon the pun). I hope to use mine this weekend if the weather allows. Mine still shows my boat in the lake about 3/4 mile from my house with 5.8 hours on it-and the boat has 8...

          Mine partially updated today, so for some reason the different pieces of info must be sent up at different times. Again, no change with the boat, still sitting in garage, power switch completely off.

          Currently:
          Location = correct
          Fuel Level = wrong (45% - should be almost full)
          Eng Hrs = wrong (10.3 should be 14.8)
          Ballast = correct

            So I just linked my boat to the mynautique app and have similar concerns as discussed above. However, when I went to the mynautique website that was sent to me in the link at https://my.nautique.com and logged in, I noticed that the information showed a last updated date and time. This doesn't help their app much, but should at least help those of you wondering when your boat last updated information and if the information was correct at that time.

              I will say this past weekend has been my best experience yet. I finished up my lake day on Sunday at 3pm and took note of everything (fuel %, hours, etc). I checked the app at 4:30 and the location, hours, fuel % etc were all perfect.

                Thanks! I checked mine today after a quick ride and everything updated correctly.

                  Also of note, I picked up my boat last Thursday and just before I left the dealer said Nautique pushed a software update which they then loaded on the boat. When I asked what they updated he said it affected the connectivity items on the boat. Not sure if it specifically is this, but couldn't hurt to check your boats for the latest software.

                    Good find! I never even thought to check the website. Mine has updated. Everything is correct on mine now except fuel and engine hours. Sadly it's been 2 weeks since I've been on the water, so it's had plenty of time to catch up. At this point I assume it's not going to. Will definitely have to pay attention to the website this weekend to see if I can correlate any rhyme or reason to the updates.

                    I'd be interested to know what your software versions are? Mine are below. I picked my boat up in mid-March.

                        Mine hasnt been on the water in 3 weeks. It will be wet this weekend. I get the cell connectivity argument and all that... All I know is that my family has two different carriers for cell service. We have no issue here at the lake with cell phones. Ford Pass works nicely here. What does not work is - My Nautique... I love my boat, but this is silly...

                            Does anyone know if the dealers have to do the LINC update? Or can it be done from another source?

                              Couldn't agree more, that being said, their core competency clearly is not mobile app development. I guess if they have to pick an area to skimp, I'd rather it be on the app than on the boat! At least a terrible mobile app doesn't detract from a good day on the water!

                              My dealer told me this was one of the advantages of the app was so the dealer could push down firmware updates remotely. If that's the case, hopefully it's more reliable than the app. I'd hate for a partial download to put the boat out of commission!

                                I just came off of the water. I have 9.5 hours on the boat. (I spent about an hour and a half out). I have about 62% fuel. And as it has for the last 5 weeks, this is what My Nautique indicates... Click image for larger version
