I'm not sure that's accurate. My battery switch has been off for a couple of weeks now while my G has been on the trailer. The app is still updating several times a day. Not sure if having the battery charger plugged in has anything to do with it, but I doubt it.

Yeah, mine is pretty accurate. Hours are right on, fuel level is right on, location is right on. At times the ballast level indicated is a little off, but it usually updates within a few minutes.

I wonder if the issue is that it can't get a satellite signal in a boathouse (or other area with a roof). My boat is sitting on the trailer right now, and my lift is not inside my boathouse, but has a canopy over it.

Could be, but you've seen pics of my boathouse before, it has a lot of "openness", if not the roof. If I can't get a signal, not many will on a lift/in a boathouse. Agree?

App is just plain buggy. Definitely needs to go back to QA. Mine is all over the place.

At the moment my battery and fuel is accurate.
My engine hours, ballast and location are all way off.

What's strange is it appears the last snapshot it took was a point in time during the day at the lake, but the fuel didn't get added till the day was over. So apparently it doesn't update all of readings at the same time.

I definitely do not get any updates from the app when the battery switch is off. I filled up at the dock after boating Sunday, and my fuel still show 60%. My battery charger is also plugged in.

My issues if the roof issue is "a thing" with this app are twofold:

1. It shows my boat with 5.8 hours; I have 8. That means that this app doesn't "poll" (not sure if this is the right word) very often at all. It means that I was boating for two plus hours and the app didn't "poll".
2. My truck sits in the garage all the time (which has multiple roof structures above it) Ford Pass seems to have no issue with roofs.

To make it even more bizarre, mine has updated since last night (in garage for over 24 hours with roof) batter switch flipped off.
But it still updated with outdated/inaccurate info:

Fuel level 85% (Last night was 92%)
Engine Hours: 6.3 (last night was 5.9) Actual on the boat is 14.8
Ballast Tanks: 100% (Last night they were at 25%) Actual on the boat is 0%
Location: Middle of our lake? (Last night showed we were at the marina where we took the boat out) Actual: boat is sitting in my garage at home and has been since Sunday night.

Will be interesting to see how long it takes the app to catch up with real life.

We've had our boat since the beginning of April and put 8 hours on it so far....the MyNautique app is still showing the boat sitting at the factory in Orlando. At least some of you can get it to update!

I've had my P25 a little over a week with 35 hours on it so far, everything on my app is working fine. I haven't check the app while running to see how accurate it is but I do check it at night for fuel levels, hours etc and everything is accurate including the location. I keep mine under roof (metal) in a boat house as well and haven't had any issues.....go figure!

2020 230 here and app is working as it should. Currently in the dock and covered with the batteries off. Just another data point.

Here are 4 shots I took from the app throughout the day today, and then a final shot just to make sure my boat was where I thought I had left it last. It appears as though these updates are possibly real updates from 5/3 they're just trickling in still. Not sure if there's a massive lag on their servers updating or what. Will be interesting to see if the app eventually updates to show actual boat location.

I just received a little bit of clarification from Nautique.

The connectivity relies on a cellular connection, so if service is poor in your area, that could explain the lack of updates. Not sure if that is the cause of any of the issues here or not, but at least that's something.

Also, if the battery switch is off, it should still update GPS and battery voltage once every four hours. Nothing else is updated with the battery switch off.
