    210, G21 or G23

I have to ask again. We are seriously considering upgrading from our 2019 210. I was looking at a used 17’ G23 and someone bought it before I could. Now that all I can think about. We are in NO WAY disappointed with our surf wave but would like more storage, more freeboard and the extra space from a larger beam. Other thing include the wavefront sound system, seadek under the seats, the enhanced courtesy lighting and the taller tower in the 2020 models. We will also order a bimini this time as it is cheaper to order it during the build than add it afterwards and trying to sell our 210 without a bimini has been challenging. I like the fact that if we purchase a G21, our balance will be close to 20k less than if we purchased a G23. We have 4-6 people on average. There are ZERO used Nautiques for sale in Alaska and I am too impatient to wait another year while we fly somewhere to demo the boats. We only surf. In order to keep this original post as short as possible, I would like opinions from those who surf the 21 and 23 a lot or have owned both models. (Trailering and storage not an issue, we can afford either model. Biggest concern is the SURF wave. We will pay the extra money if the wave is considerable better in the 23). Thanks in advance. And yes, I’ve read pages and pages of discussions on this topic. I think it will also be easier to downgrade to a G21 then upgrade to a G23 if we want to sell either boat in a year or two. Again thanks in advance for chiming in! Also I have to admit, I want the best wave possible and yes, I will purchase and slam the G23 with lead to get it or at least find out for myself what the hype is all about and then go from there. Is it worth the extra money or will I be happy with the G21? (Surf wave only....)

As you stated , you can afford to purchase either boat . With that said by all means purchase the G23 . Much more storage then the G21, better wave than the G21, less bow rise than the G21 and a much better resale value than the G21. There will be other reasons folks recommend the G23 over the G21 but the ones I listed are major IMHO.

If you can afford it and trailering or storage isn’t an issue and you want the best surf wave, then just order a g23 and be done with it. I can’t see any reason a g21 would be an option based on your comments?

Given your requests there is absolutely no reason to do a 21, all things are better in the 23. If you do a 21, next year you will be wanting a 23.

I found a killer deal on a loaded 2018 with 132 hours. Saved me from putting money down on a new order. Hopefully closing the deal this week.

That was my worry, wanting to upgrade again next year. I found a killer deal on a 2018 loaded G23 with 132 hrs. Hopefully close the deal this week. Only out of pocket cost will be shipping.

Did you sell your 210 in AK or send it down to the States?

I haven’t sold it yet. I have two people interested who I’m counting on to buy it soon but I still have it in my garage.
