How does the capacity compare to the previous coolers? That original stock cooler was not very big already. I would imagine that this cooler has less capacity.

not sure what you guys are expecting from a cooler ..I can pack mine in morning and the next morning its still ice cold with quarter of ice still in it...I just dump and fill again for another great day..I do have the luxury of a refrigerater in my boat house that makes enough ice to fill the cooler each day..

Are you saying you can put ice in the stock igloo cooler and it still has ice 24 hrs later? I find that hard to believe...that stock igloo cooler is terrible.

Has anyone compared the capacity difference between the old and new coolers? Not sure how much capacity I am willing to give up.

Still don’t understand why they don’t just make the cooler location an integrated cooler like the rear deck cooler. Opening a lid to open a lid is dumb.

I love it. I'm able to take the cooler to the fridge and ice maker in my boathouse, load up the cooler-and drop it in the boat.

Perhaps the answer is to have an integrated latch/top puller, so you lift the floor and the cooler lid also opens and then closes tightly.

                          I’d say that’s worth a good add on for $400 .

Yes, for sure that is an awesome option to have. In a perfect world, you would have both options. An insulated in-floor cooler for day use, and the ability to put an external cooler in as well. A good thread on doing some DIY cooler insulating: https://www.planetnautique.com/vb5/f...n-floor-cooler

I'm curious as well to see if the cooler was purchased for $350.00 with SeaDek and Nautique logo, if so that is a great deal, but I doubt that price is achievable.
