Nautique Production 2020

Does Nautique give customers a way to track the boat through production, or do you just need to hassle your dealer every 5-minutes until you get it?

I have only received updates through the dealer. A tracking app would be awesome. Like a Domino's pizza delivery.

GM has a tracking number with codes on builds so you can see where the car is in the process and I think it takes heat off the dealer to always have to check status. My Nautique dealer is both slammed and short staffed right now with all that is going on so I am resisting calling every five minutes with every little question, but man it does take some will power.

I just got an interesting call from my dealer. They stated that the boat is delayed a few more weeks. They mentioned that the Nautique 200 production site has changed with all of the Covid stuff. He mentioned that it will be coming from Orlando. He also said that because of the continued delays they will produce it as a 2021. He doesn't think that there will be any model changes from 2020 to 2021. They will call me back as info becomes available in the next few days.

Nautique FINALLY shipped my tower last week for my 200. I've had the boat for a couple months now, and I love, love, love it! Will be even better with the tower.

Update my G23 showed up Jun 2nd. I ordered it Mar 4th. It was scheduled to be here May 8th-12th.But no trailer yet! lol

If it is a Boat Mate trailer, they too were off line for a good bit...naturally.

My new Nautique 200 has yet to be delivered. The dealer has confirmed that it should arrive July 1st or 2nd. It will officially be a 2021. Ordered at the end of February. The trailer has been at the dealer since the beginning of June. Getting there.

It will be interesting to see when Correct Craft is finally able to get up to full production levels (assuming they have not yet). For those who have not been to the Nautique factory, for example, much of the work involves side by side/close proximity labor. True enough, the work with the spraying and the like involves respirators/seraration, but much involves people in fairly close proximity to one another-(the upholstery shop). Anyway, this recent virus spike can't have helped progress, IMHO... Some of the work involved masks before COVID-19, in fairness.

More interesting is the demand for these boats (and other recreational toys) since COVID-19; it has skyrocketed. Many of these dealers are having off-the-charts, record years. The simple fact of the matter is that people are investing in items like this to spend time (and quarantine) with family/close friends. Juxtaposed with the aforementioned manufacturing challenges during ther pandemic, we have quite "the situation" here...

We ordered our G23 Paragon on April 30th. It is a confirmed 2021 and at last look by dealer it was scheduled to be done on 7/2 and delivered to Missouri 7/7-7/9. Hopeful that timeline continues but wouldn’t be surprised if it extends out.

It exists! I just received a few photos from the factory. There was a slight texture change in a few spots on the interior of the 2021 Nautique 200. They wanted to give me a heads up of the difference. I think that is the only change this year. From what I have been told anyway.

I'm told they are rolling along right now. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

I would feel cheated if I got one of the last 2020 that was made. Here we are in the middle of peak production and boating time and someone who gets a boat a week after me gets to use it for pretty much all of the 2020 season, but call it a year newer down the road. I think it is different when the model year shifts at the end of the boating season instead of the beginning.

Was there the usual price increase for a 2021 model? I suspect there will be one coming, which makes the whole thing a little bit weirder.
