    Rankin Cover Install

help please...I got my cover last night...and I tried to install it this morning. I am curious how the straps in the back tie down? The cover came with some screws and tabs that the straps may go to, but no directions on where to screw the tabs in. I could guess, but I would rather not guess when screwing something into the boat....Anybody got any help for me? Boat is a 2006 210

    thanks

06 211 not sure if it's the same. But............ My tabs screw into the rubrail along the back. Then the hooks on the straps clip over the tabs. I'll get picture of it tonight if you want.

The rubrail at the platform? and do you just take out and replace an existing screw, or do you drill new holes...I hate drilling holes in my boat, especially at water level.

Looks like they used the existing holes that mount the rub rail (no extras). Call you dealer and ask them, but I'd say take the old ones out and put the new ones w/the tabs in their place.

does your cover fit your 06? I recieved mine in March and they were still pattered off of last years 210 (different windshield). Still waiting for my replacement.

            Euro-

yeah, the cover lines up with the windshield and fits fine there...but they missed on aligning the pylon...The pad for the pylon is 12" long and they missed by an inch still. Other than that everything is perfect.

Also, someone had asked in another post about the Rankin cover and dropping the tower. With the 06 the white Nav light is on top of the tower and when you fold the tower down it would depress that bracket into the cover if your cover was on tight. I am not sure of the clearance with previous years.
