230 Cooler seat mod for 2007-2013

I have a video, posted on FB Nautique page, I'll try to copy and paste here. I added the newer '14 & up seat hinges to the cooler seat behind the captain's chair in the 230. I removed the piano hinge and had to build spacers (the hard part) to get a vertical surface to mount the new hinges. This is a great mod, and makes using the cooler access SOO much better!

I'll take some pics of the finished project and post later

That's awesome! Wish I would have done something like this.. Just re did my interior and it was painful to drill through the new side panel again with the piano hinge...

I would buy a couple spacers from you if you wanted.

I could do this if we have a few members interested in the mod. It was tricky but doable if you're handy. The hard part is machining the angle to get the vertical face correct so the hinges operate without binding. I also noticed that Nautique Parts removed those hinges from the site as someone asked me which part# I used. Let me check with them to see if they're available.
Our business does a lot of machined aluminum bits, getting plastic cut should be no problem!

            I’d be down for 1.

I wondered, I looked for those hinges and didn't see them.

Here's an updated shot. I haven't had a chance to get the blocks quoted. I'm trying to figure out a way to mount them without the angled blocks due to the difficulty in drilling the fiberglass on an angle. Click image for larger version

                      I'll take a set.

I bought these hinges from the dealer several years ago for this same thing, but never installed them. These blocks look much better than what I had in mind.

Can I ask where you sourced the upholstery base backing fabric from? Need some for our 210

I purchased from a dealer. AFAIK, that's the only place to get it.
