G23 vs G25 surf wake

Gonna buy a new G...which has the better surf wake? 23 or 25? Love the room and everything with the G25 but the wake is most important.

I've had both boats. If you mean surf and not skim, the G25 has a much weaker wave than the G23. Skim riders like a flatter wave and in that case both boats are comparable.

Both boats can produce great surf waves. But they share the same ballast system. The larger hull surface area of the G25 requires more weight to produce a comparable wave to the G23. Add 1000 to 1500 lbs to the G25 and it can throw a surf wave as good as the G23. But this has lift and towing implications if you go with steel bags.
