    Nautique warranty

I recently bought a 2016 G21 that has one year left on the warranty. I will be the second owner and I believe the warranty it transferable to the second buyer. I was quoted 500 to transfer it from the local dealer.
    Does that sound right?

The warranty brochure and transfer application can be found here: https://www.planetnautique.com/vb5/f...uals-brochures . Cost is stated to be $400. Probably $500 now.

My guess, dealer is probably charging $100 for the “inspection” and $400 goes for the transfer fee.

So... 2016... engine warranty only good 5yrs till 2021 at the latest... $500-$600 for 1yr warranty may not be worth it. Am I missing something?

even if you have a valid warranty issue... will your local dealer even take you?

It was $550 to Nautique. I questioned why the charge and I never got a reply back. lol. Imagine that. Rip offs

I am wrong but I don’t see why I have pay to transfer a warranty that was built into the original cost. I didn’t pay for the warranty on my used car I bought.

Oh well I paid it and will make sure I get my local dealer to fix anything and everything once the wait time isn’t two weeks.

hull deck and stringer warranty was 300 and the base and engine is 550. I did the base and engine as the dealer said nobody does the hull deck and stringer warranty
