I bought one last year after skiing behind a friends new 200. I am a 28 off skier, so I had waited for someone better to give you a response. I ski with this friend regularly and have not skied any better behind my boat than behind his boat. All of that being said, I am skiing better behind both boats than his old bubble butt nautique, a 92 pro star, or my old Supra comp TS6M. I have noticed it and have had my 35 off buddies also state that the water spray to spray, not just the wake, actually feels softer behind my ski nautique than any other boat. I am 57 years old and believe my skiing is going to dramatically improve behind this boat. My boat has the big engine and I absolutely advice you to get that engine. Stereo is great, seat heaters are great, the space in the boat is great, it drives in the course great... I have absolutely no regrets buying this boat. Good luck

tandcc Thanks so much. My wife and I are 57 too, but only at 15 off and rarely get to a course. Our 2001 sport is nickle and diming us and needs a new trailer. We will ski before buy but our dealer wants a verbal to buy before ski - can still back out.

I've got a '16 200 that is basically new and paid for, and it is a great boat, so it is hard to justify a new boat. And I seriously doubt there's much difference holding on to the handle between boats.

But I have been crawling in an out of the '19s and '20s at the dealer and they are impressive. So many nice little upgrades over my 200. I can just tell that they put a ton of thought into the new boat. The only downside I see is price. They are spendy. I am going to see where the used market shakes out on price or maybe wait for a new left over or promo boat and probably pull the trigger this fall or next. My dealer has a loaded 2020 with fantastic colors that I was considering, but it has the 6.0l and not the 6.2l. I would need to drive both before deciding if the 6.2l is a must-have option. Folks with the 6.0l say it is plenty of engine; folks with the 6.2l say it has stupid ridiculous power, which is also enticing. I was going to take some test drives before the lock down hit my state but it just didn't happen.

        Good luck.

I know the 6.2 is DI. The power difference between the two is surprising.

6.2l and 5.3l are DI. 6.0l is MPI.
