    502 IN A NAUTIQUE???

I remember kicking tires a couple years back and thought the dealer told me there was a 502 engine option. Anybody have one? What model got it and what is it like? Sounds cool, no replacement for displacement!

Rode in and drove a 2000 super air with the 502. I thought it was cool at first, but after riding in it for a while it was much louder and had a lot more vibration in the boat. I think it would get old after a while on the water. That's a big reason I like Nautique after driving many other boats is how smooth and quite the engine setups are in these boats. However, the extra get up and go would be nice for footing and bragging rights.

2000 Pro Air Nautique - all black top and bottom with cream \"N\" logo. One of the first all black gelcoated boats in recent history I understand.
