I'll stand corrected, but on the current G23 website spec sheet it says "approximate" and does not have the same asterisk and does not explain the margin of error on the word "approximate."

In any event, I believe CAT scale reports on the actual weight of a boat and trailer running down the road; but I personally place little credence in the "approximate" dryweight listed on a manufacturer's website.

I don’t have the Expedition Max, but use a Denali XL to tow 8-8500 pounds of tractor and other equipment for work a couple times a month. If I keep the speed to 70 it does just fine.

Having towed the same load with an Ecoboost F150, and a 6.7 250, the Denali and 150 tow very similarly. The 250 was nice because I could tow at 80 and it felt like nothing was back there.
