2003 Sport Nautique Limited 216

I’m considering purchasing a 2003 sport nautique limited 216. It has 373 hours and comes with a trailer. 5.7L 330 and looks to be in great condition based on the pictures. No tower. What would be a fair purchasing price? Is 2003 a good model year? Thanks!

Direct drive configuration right? No tower but good condition? Maybe up to 20-ish if nicley optioned...PP stargazer, nice tunes,...17 or 18 feels better.

No v-drive limits market. No tower is not a typical configuration. Bit of an odd man out boat, a little tricky to price.

Yes on DD but no PP and still has factory stereo system. Pretty basic as far as options go. Original owner who was very meticulous. Owner is asking 25K which seems on the high end.

Yeah, 25 feels like too much to me. Especially if you're not a buy and hold person - you'll find it hard to sell the boat as it's not a V drive (everyone wants to surf now) and no tower. It's too big for the hard core skiers...they want the 196, 206 or the new 200. A tower and PP will staple about 3k of expense to the boat. The 216 is kinda a tweener boat... I think you can do better.

For comparison, I bought my 2004 206 LE last fall, 360 hours...factory tower...old version PP, bimini, sunbrella tow cover for $21.5. Very clean boat... everything was in full order....came with a new prop - just needed trunk skins ($320), 4 new cabin speakers ($110) and I upgraded the PP to a stargazer unit.
