    2019 SAN Questions

I just bought a new 2019 SAN 230. I am trying to get the setting down for the best surf wake. I have a few questions. 1. Ballast, is 2100 pounds the most it can have? If not any good suggestions? 2. What is the best speed for the most push/wake? 3. What are the ideal surf settings? 4. Does one side have a better wake than the other? 4. Any upgrades that are a must have for Surfing?

There’s a pretty good really long megathread on setting up a 230 somewhere here. But to quickly answer these:
    1. You’ll want to run a lot more than that. The easiest route is to get the wakemakers piggyback system and install it. Front and rear pigggyback puts you somewhere in the 3,000s.
    2. This gets subjective. I vary based on conditions. On a clear day with clear water I run 11.0. With wind and rougher water I’ll drop down to 10.8 or 10.6.
    3. Find the mega thread. This is probably the thing I see the most varied opinions on.
    4. Regular side has the advantage of prop rotation. It’ll surf better but they both can be awesome.
Other 4. Just the ballast upgrade and maybe some lead, too.
