one person's idea of fully loaded could be drastically different from the next.
also some options are quite expensive and can have a major affect on price. for example: the H6 motor is a $10,000 upgrade

I wouldn't take "Fully Loaded" so literal in this case. I'm sure he means it has a majority of the options chosen.....as opposed to a minority of them. Yeah...I guess when we hear FULLY loaded.....one is to assume that every "Option" you can check off to add to the boat is on there....but if he leaves the bow armrests off...but has everything else checked...technically we could say "Loaded" boat vs "Fully Loaded" boat.....LOL Remember, a loaded diaper only holds so much.....ha ha ha

The sticker price on my 2017 was about $130,000. I paid 90K in 2018 to the first owner when the boat had about 30 hours on it. Im guessing it must have been bought for less than 120 for that guy to take that hit for only 1 year of ownership. The new ones sticker 147-159K on only inboards. So for a new/old stock 2018 I'd start at 120K and be prepared to be laughed at by the dealer. Actually I thought I saw 2019 for sale at 109K a couple months ago

I had a deal I passed up a few wks ago...2019 w 35hrs for 95k, I should have bought it. Most of the deals are gone, now is not the time to be buying...ppl are loco. 5-10 year old boats selling for more than they were new simply because the price of new has gotten so outa control, ppl just don’t know what the cost a few yrs ago.Last edited by UFG8RMIKE; 07-07-2020, 08:47 PM.

There's no way I'd start at $120k, unless that is around 35% off MSRP as that boat is configured. Under normal circumstances, the dealer would be selling a 3-year old boat at a loss or near a loss to stop the bleeding on the curtailment payments. The only wrinkle right now is that Covid-19 has impacted supply, and boats and RVs are commanding a premium, because there is nothing else to do and there is very little inventory right now. So you might be stuck paying a premium if you really want a boat now. But I'd figure out MSRP for the specific boat and offer up whatever 35% off is and see what the dealer says. You'll figure out pretty quickly how far off you are on pricing, if at all.

Interesting, where did you get that 35% number from? I figure they would laugh at you if you started at 20% off. What about this website? https://seedealercost.com/marine/browse/manufacturer
wondering if its accurate, it says invoice of 83 and sticker is 119. So sticker of 140 would have an invoice around 100K

But the wild card is Covid-19 and supply-chain interruptions. The boat and RV market is a sellers market right now and most locations are running out of inventory, so who knows. The dealer may be thinking someone will pay a lot more for it now because of the market even though it is left over stock. Everything I said above may be useless right now during these crazy times.
