Working on downloading video from the GoPro yesterday. The wave is incredible but what is more amazing is the push it has all the way at the back. ItÂ’s difficult to fall out of the wave. Here is a mellow setting photo from our new 2021 P23...
The steep setting is difficult for beginners because the push is so strong it will throw you into the boat. This is with only a couple people in the boat. I find the mellow setting at a 2 is good for all around riding. I personally ride the steep and its effortless.

I see too many new riders coiling the rope to get in the sweet spot. This is very dangerous. A 14 year old girl at our marina fell into a coiled rope. It broke her arm and she was dragged until the driver realized her predicament. This greatly increased the ligament damage to her already broken arm. But it could have been worse. NEVER coil the rope!
