Working on downloading video from the GoPro yesterday. The wave is incredible but what is more amazing is the push it has all the way at the back. ItÂ’s difficult to fall out of the wave. Here is a mellow setting photo from our new 2021 P23...

The steep setting is difficult for beginners because the push is so strong it will throw you into the boat. This is with only a couple people in the boat. I find the mellow setting at a 2 is good for all around riding. I personally ride the steep and its effortless.

My kids ride between 3-5 and most adults are riding 5-10 depending on what they want to do. This footage is at 5

I find it’s easier to teach new people due to the length of the wave. You are already in the push with the handle in your hand.

But that should always be the case. It is safest to first shorten the rope so the rider is sitting in the sweet spot of the wave. I see too many new riders coiling the rope to get in the sweet spot. This is very dangerous. A 14 year old girl at our marina fell into a coiled rope. It broke her arm and she was dragged until the driver realized her predicament. This greatly increased the ligament damage to her already broken arm. But it could have been worse. NEVER coil the rope!

Agreed on the coiled rope. Drives me crazy when I see people do that. I stop the boat if anyone ever does that behind my boat and then I explain why they can never do that.

I agree with this as well but I guess the point is that with the rope at its longest length you are in the wave. Makes it easier for pickup with the longer rope as well. If we left the rope too long one our old boat we would pull it in for them so the new riders would not have to coil. It always terrified me that someone would get caught.

In the Tucker video....is there a fin on that Phase 5? Awesome wave. Nice 360s. Just wondering if I need to take my center fin out...or is he spinning those with the fin.

                      Thanks.

There is no fin in that board. I had a lot of trouble riding it because all it wants to do is spin

You should google some of his videos. God told him to run for president so he could legalize weed.
