redelf75's postings got pulled on CCF,

kinda funny the CCF guys told him what was wrong with his boat and that nobody offer to fix it for him, maybe his attitude played a roll in that.

I know a couple of guys at the other reunion at GL got their boats worked on, one even walked away with a new acme prop on their boat given to them from another member and it wasn't the door price one either.

Bob.. every time the angry vibe starts to die in this thread, you seem to be paid to bring it back... I'll try not to get my posts edited now, but I have to say a few things, nicely...

      1) He wasn't on the boat, I was. We had a great time at the reunion and got along with everyone. Keith himself told us we "couldn't have been nicer to him and his family." He also said that if we had the part on us, and if he knew the ZR6 engine, he would have been more than glad to fix the impeller.
      2) We had great reason to believe it wasn't the impeller, due to other overheating scenarios, but thats a whole other story...
      3) Yeah, his post got pulled, but so did Craig's, who happens to be family of the company that the whole site is about--I found that a little ironic...
      4) Bottom line-Please, if you don't know the story, stop talking like you do! Obviously you weren't there, you dont know how it went down, nor have you met him--so you really dont know his attitude in person, do you? While I was on the boat alone, everyone came up and saw that I was having problems, and took time to teach me this and that about the engine--I'm still a novice. Everyone, including Keith, even came on the boat to test it out, and help me go under to look for where the intake could have been blocked. I doubt they all would have taken time out of their reunion to help me out so nicely if we had an attitude--we were even having fun...

Alright... I'm done... I'm not trying to start a fight with you, Bob, I'm just trying to set things straight. But you've made your point--so you can stop with the childish 'attitude' comments. Sorry to stir things up again... end rant...

interresting over heating problem what's going to cause that? clogged strainer, clogger cooler, impellar, RWP, thermostat oh wait a minute a marine stat opens when it goes bad doesn't it? really don't see what the ZR6 changes guess can't read the temp gauge and see that it was hot and that's why it went into limp mode. So it goes back to a a cooling issue guess the rwp is special on that 6.0L motor maybe you should have used a ski handle and listened for the problem, oh wait a minute it wasn't knocking. Great mechanics there hat's off to you guys talented bunch lets ignore the obvious and not even check, lets cripe at the dealer instead.

Ok.. don't you understand that at this point, this argument is pointless? You're inganging youself in a lose-lose situation, and getting me in a win-win one, don't you see that? You're the big guy picking a fight with the small one... anyway, online arguments are pointless, stupid, and uselss... so this needs to end... now...

Refer to Mikeski's post earlier, he was practically on the nose...

just respomding to your commint that the ZR6 made a difference, i don't concider keith much of a mechanic great guy and all but not very mechanical. Maybe their just a few more guys up north that actually worked on and restored their boats and can fix them and the newer ones too. Guess we don't have the cash to laydown 50K plus on a new boat but we sure can fix them for you guys that can.

Good for them! This is not a competition! I thinks its great when I see a guy on the site take a crap boat and restore it to perfect condition! Props to the guy who wanted to get DRAGON's totalled 210 to fix it up. But, as Mikeski also said, not everyone is capable of doing that. I am not myself, but what I find more important is that I'm already learning and want to VERY MUCH be able to not become a mechanic, but have the mechanical skills that you guys talk about. I think its pretty pathetic that you don't see that quality in me and even if you do, you should be ashamed that you at least dont respect it. This knowledge doesnt' come with birth...

I dont care if Fred himself was at the reunion (though that would have been kinda cool), skills at the reunion didn't matter, b/c we still didn't have the part! So that point you were trying to make is N/A.

Are we done now? Any last comment you want to get in... something mature to end on a good note...

I'm glad I do hang out with people that do work on their boats and do all of the maintnance themselfs means we spend more time on the water when we go out instead of try to figure out whats wrong with my boat now or what the dealer forgot to do. Impellars are not that hard to locate sure doesn't take three days, most of the time you can go to wal-mart and pick one up guess there not open 24 hr out east like they are in the south and midwest, guess NECC didn't want to sell one when they went there the first time pretty lame excuss for blaming someone else for their own ignorance. Guess it was more fun standing around taking pitures from the looks everyone has a camera in there hand instead of getting a screw driver out and checking for clogs then again you might have gotten your hands dirty, oh I forgot no mechanical skills sorry you guys did do dthe right thing by getting the camera's out.

... nor do I understand what the 3 of you (HW,OTW, BC) are so upset about. You guys are acting like redelf committed some heinous crime against you. Just mellow out. If you really have an issue with him, find a way to express yourself without resorting to 3rd grade tactics.
Okay Richard, point out to me the areas where I am upset. Nobody is ganging up, it just so happens that other people may have similar views, why didn't you lump 82tique or quinner in with us? (sorry for tossing you under the bus chris and 82, just making a point)

                    Seriously, piss off.

                        No gangbanging here.

Austin, FWIW I don't think your family nor Craig had the story exactly straigh, just a guess. And yes why would Keith leave up Craig's post? It was a response to a post that got zapped.

Yeah, you're right. Theres our side, his side, and the truth. I cant agree with either side 100% b/c there are way too many details that were left out online, but I guess you can understand that, the whole story would have been 3523 pages long. I said the point about deleting Craig's post for arguments sake, and although it was a response to a deleted post, it was pretty harsh and argumentative....
