    Cheap Boats on E Bay

Are these all scams. New Nautiques for $70.00. They are all in EURO. There are tonnes of Mastercrafts too.

Anything where they want you to "buy it now" and pay "Square Trade" is a scam. They hijack ebay usernames and use pictures from boat trader or the like. For a while, a group of guys on the MC site would always run up the bids on them without doing a B.I.N. and bombard the guy with questions. They usually aren't no there long before they get yanked by ebay.

Which I find to be absolutely hilarious. I think I might get along with a few of those guys over at TMC if they'd let me register.

I made it thru as well, 5 days.

If you think CC owners have "goggles" on, 1/2 hour over at TMC will make you think otherwise. That being said, there are cool people on there and a few interesting topics to look over.

true that. Their goggles are definatly strapped on a little tighter. Did they require you to pee in the little plastic cup, complete the application w/ documentation, birth cert, drivers lic and social security number? At TMC, dont think about asking a question that has been disgussed previously.

Lots of guys over there that know their stuff too.

While there are those that do, I'm not one of them. I'll ski 'em all and smile. I can really appreciate the flexibility you guys have on this site compared to one that is corporate owned. I'm also glad I didn't have to whiz in a cup to post over here. I wish I had a solution to the registration process over there, but it's completely controlled by site admin. The two moderators, of which I'm one, don't have a thing to do with it. And yes, my opinion to admin concerning the process has been "noted."

That said, there must be a MC filter on the avatars on here. It shows up in my profile, but not on the forum. It's a conspiracy I tells ya. Yellow_Flash_Colorz:

/edit. Conspiracy debunked. I've got an avatar. Hazaaah! That's service! What a user-friendly site!

Well, I've never had anything but good vibes from old atlfootr, but as it goes, some people hit it off, and some don't. You put me in a room with enough people and there are just some I will tend to get along with better than others. Way it goes I suppose. If meory serves, there are over 4,000 users on that site. Pretty big room full of people to stretch the analogy. Some I know personally, among them an owner of a very pretty 2006 SN 196.

As boats go, I dig them all for different reasons. My local dealer is a Nautique dealer and if I have my choice, they are the ones I always want working on my boat. They are a top notch dealer and they treat me like family even though I bought a different brand from a different dealer (they didn't have a boat in my price range when I was looking and I ended up buying out of town).

I always have a good time getting to ski behind the latest 196 when I go to ski school up in Greenville, TX each summer. That said, I love the boat I own, too.

Bottom line, you throw me a rope from a Bayliner, I'll still smile (if I can get up). I just hope I'm riding the 7' Maherajah instead of the Monza if that happens.

                    Cheers!
